welcome, or what should I say? on this page you'll find information about me, one of these hundred-thousands christian schneider's who exist on this planet we call earth. that's why I have this crappy domain christianschneider.ch. don't even think about telling me it is too long, I bloody know it is too long. but after recognizing that there isn't even a free domain name for just schneider dot something on the cayman islands, I gave up and decided to reserve christianschneider.ch. though long, it's easy to remember...at least for the hundred-thousand others who share this name with me. I have to say that I had a sort of a funny feeling while building this page. I'm normally not really keen on exhibitionism. at the same time that's what I'm doing here. I'm telling every person having access to an Internet connection: "hey dude, come and look at my site, come and look how great I am and how great my site is, I did it all my self, aren't I'm a genius?! and don't forget to look at the pictures of my last birtday party, awesome!!!". Why do I do this? I feel the need to explain this. If you haven't stopped reading already a few lines earlier, well, do it now. The main thing is that I am now a weird being called a computer scientist, and I would like to show my works to people who are interested to work with me. I would like to show what my interests are. this could help me to get in touch with interesting people who do interesting work. If you look at it like that, this page is less a act of exhibitionism than an effort to adapt to this world. this is pure darwinism! I know that this invokes exhibitionism, but I tried to keep that part down in simply keeping the design sort of zen, or if you want, simple and stupid. Also, the site provides valid xhtml 1.0 transitional and valid css. I'm trying to keep your and my yin-yang as it was before you visited this site. you won't be a better person after visiting this site. the good news it that you won't be a worse one either, in case you're not keen on improving your karma (Internet surfing is definitely bad for your karma).
