this one needs a little patience. the hotel heiress and glamour girl gets hunted by thousands of journalists, day by day, probably to the end of her life. that's what I try to illustrate in this work. her appearance is vague, non of us has seen her in real life, but she's a magnet. her incredible appeal lures them along her way in order to trace an image of her. the journalists are here illustrated by 100000 pencils simultaneously drawing the contours of paris. the work evolves with her life, fetching images from yahoo, so that in some decades an old wrinkled lady may become the model for the drawings.
technical info: a 100000 particle system using verlet integration. particles are governed by a force field based on the color values of each pixel.
