The workshop series Articulating Urban Complexities investigated the use of parametric design tools for urban design. Contemporary computational challenges in urban design were addressed in order to provide students with practical knowledge in the field. Various parametric design and analysis tools as well as urban design proposals were developed during the workshops. The students learned to build Grasshopper definitions from existing components. In order to meet specific urban design requirements, they also learned how to create custom Grasshopper components C#.
