In this five-day intensive workshop the students started to develop and prototype a design based on massive digital data. A combination of Rhinoceros/Rhinoscript was taught and used as a powerful tool. Step by step they learned the very basics of Rhinoscript, loading digital data into Rhinoceros, organizing their data, transforming data into geometry and preparing the complex model for production. The designs where milled, laser cut and 3d printed during one intensive and long day at the Rapid Architectural Prototyping Laboratory at ETH Zurich. The first week was completely guided, in the following two weeks the students finalized their work.
The workshop took place at the ETH ZurichChair for Information Architecture
