Merging physical architecture and digital information allows a direct and intuitive communication between user, space and infrastructure. The aim of the project was to unveil the sensual perception in our architectural space with an installation based on Processing, an open source programming language. This sensuality depends on both visible and invisible components of architecture: the dimensions of a room, its content, and its building material, as well as the use of the building, the people, their traditions and needs, how they use the space and move in it.
The video shows footage of a initial prototype and student works which emerged from the course The Sensitive Tapestry which took place at the Chair for Information Architecture, ETH Zurich.
