Christian Schneider is a computer scientist, researcher and artist continuously investigating and integrating computational methods into fields such as Architecture, Design, Data Visualisation and Neuroscience. Simulation of natural systems and an emphasis on aesthetics are at the core of his work.

He received an MSc in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland and University of Århus, Denmark. He has been been a collaborator at institutions such as the Centre for Advanced Visualization and Interaction in Århus, MTV World in Auckland, Chair for Information Architecture at ETH Zurich, Future Cities Laboratory in Singapore and the Statistics Office in Zurich. He was involved in numerous research and other projects in the areas of Data Visualisation, Digital Fabrication, Projection Mapping, Neuroscience and Parametric Urban Design and simulation. He conducted lectures and workshops in the same areas at ETH Zurich and the University of Applied Sciences Chur.
